Kid-isms

Ok, so you know when you have a child who talks so much you learn to tune them out?  I have 4.  Grace was jabbering at me the other day and I was trying hard to be a good mommy and at least listen with one ear while doing something else.  Every topic change was preceded by "And you know what , Mom?" This had been going on for at least 30 minutes and just about the time I was totally fed up and really wanted to scream "No, I don't know, nor do I want to!" I answer one more time, "what sweetie?" and she responds with, "I love you, and now I'm going to go play!"  Is that intuitive or what?

I caught James with something small in his mouth and on the way to investigate I asked him what he had.  He grinned really big and RAN along the couch.  I was floored by his speed and laughing so hard I almost couldn't catch him!  Not that all the fun and games made it any easier to get the die away from him!
