The Christmas Present

Joshua has been my official snow-shoveler (why does that word not have two "l"s?) and on occasion he also helps out our friend and neighbor.  One time, after shoveling out her driveway, she gave him some money "to buy a Christmas present for your mom."  He was SO excited!  I let him go down to the local store, without me (because then it wouldn't be a surprise), and pick something out.  He boasted for almost 2 weeks about the great gift he got for me, because "he knew just what his mom likes!"  Oh, the suspense!  What does a 7 year old boy get for his momma?  He kept a good secret, by the way, I didn't find out until I opened it on Christmas morning.  Here it is, The Amazing Glo Mug.  He said they didn't have Mariners, so he knew Seahawks were the next best thing.  It lights up when you tip it.  :D  Oh, and James LOVES it!

  1. Joseph and family, it is wonderful to be able to keep up with you, Joseph I know you were only here for a short while but I consider you a friend. I'm sorry to hear about your truck, but it was nice to be able to see the kids for a brief moment. May God continue to light your path. Friends Darbie
