Josh has a fiercely independent streak and he's been begging to bake something, anything all by himself. I finally gave in and let him bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies (with pecans, he insisted). Here is the result. The dough was a bit dry, but the finished cookies taste fabulous! Mmmm! It took him 2 hours from start to finish - that is why I have a hard time letting him do stuff in the kitchen by himself! He did clean up most of his mess though! We are making progress!
Sweet! They look like they taste good. I may have to break down and bake some cookies tonight rather than tomorrow. Seth doesn't always want to bake cookies any more. :) Mom
