A Pocketknife?

We played White Elephant BINGO last night at our Bible study's Family Night.  It was fun.  As you get a BINGO, you get to choose a white elephant gift.  James was getting tired of "playing" so we called him a BINGO and let him choose a gift.  He got a multi-tool with flashlight, knife, pliers, can opener, screwdriver, and a saw.  Talk about one happy boy!!  I thought he would NEVER quit grinning and bouncing and saying, "I got a pocket knife!!"  He's so cute we couldn't bear to take it away.  However, it's mine until he checks it out from me (so at least I'll know when to be particularly observant) and he cannot get the knife blade out by himself (all the other kids have been duly threatened against opening it for him).
So for a little while at least, we can let him play with it under supervision.  It just may get "lost" at some point, especially when he learns to open it by himself, but for now it's a really cool flashlight that he can call a pocket knife!  :)

James took his saw outside and cut sticks this afternoon - he said, "it worked so good I cut forty (that is his number of choice right now) sticks all up!"  It apparently does not cut grass very well.  And just as a note: the flashlight is really bright! But so is his smile!!
