Winter has arrived and apparently we'll get to keep it for at least a week. It has been a strange winter this year. Very warm. Most nights above freezing - or just below. Small skiffs of snow that don't last for more than a day or so. Kind of reminds me of W. Washington without the rainy periods. :)
We got 3-4" of snow yesterday night and solid cold weather with highs below freezing. The kids and I just
had to go walking, which I am pretty sure is a safer option than driving lately. Should've taken pictures but I didn't think of it. We pulled the 2 littles on the sled so we wouldn't break
another stroller. That is how we've broken 3 of them so far - walking in the snow. I'm kinda slow, but I guess eventually I figure it out!
The down side of the cold is that we lost 7 baby bunnies born last night. The first time momma didn't cover them up well enough and it was wicked cold too (6F outside, but it was still 26 in their shed). When I went to feed and water them this morning, it was too late. :(
