Weird Weather

Ok ,I've been sitting here fighting with Blogger about my pictures of Christmas (which I have on my computer, but Blogger cannot find) watching the weather.  Today at noon we had a high of 47F and nearly clear, sunny skies.  Then for a couple of hours it rained as the temp dropped steadily and the rain became snow. The wind was steady at 30mph with gusts to 45mph and the driving snow obscured even the house across the street almost completely.  About the time we had just about decided it might be a blizzard, albeit a small one, the wind stopped and the huge flakes slowed and stuck.  In an hour we had accumulated an inch of snow.  The snow stopped, the temp warmed again to 40F before dropping to 30 again by nightfall.  I think the thermometer may be getting travel sick!
