I hadn't realized how long it had been since James has felt well. He woke up smiling this morning instead of screaming! I honestly can't remember the last time that happened. We took him to the Waterville clinic on Sunday afternoon because he had gone from cranky to unconsolable. The mild ear infection that they thought was on its way out had flared up into a raging double ear infection. The poor baby! Thank the Lord for the healing power of antibiotics! I'm not generally a real big fan of them, but there are times that they are lifesavers, 'cuz I was at the end of me. We are dso glad to have our happy baby back! Thank you Jesus!
Another neat thing to note is that even in this po-dunk little town, they have an on-call doctor in the clinic. So we didn't have to take James down the hill (2500 ft elevation change) into Wenatchee. I can't imagine the pain that would have caused him. God is good! We are more in love with Waterville every day as we discover more reasons to not need to go to Wenatchee for everything. They even opened a barber shop in the last month. That was one of my big gripes - no where to get a haircut up here.
